"I came into my craniosacral massage appointment hoping to get relief from the tension in my jaw. Little did I know I would receive that — and so much more. The session was healing, life-changing, and exactly what I needed."
Gabrielle Beane

A brief conversation about what's been present in your body — history, symptoms, goals.
Tommy begins with light palpation to assess where tension and restriction are held. The body reveals the agenda for the session.
Techniques are applied slowly and deliberately. Sessions may not cover the whole body — depth and specificity matter more than coverage.
Space is given to rest and integrate at the close. You'll leave with new observations and discuss plans moving forward.
Hikari is named for the Japanese word for light. The practice is built on a simple belief: that the body has an inherent intelligence, and that skilled, intentional touch can help restore its natural rhythm.
Tommy is an LMT trained in Costa Rica, studying craniosacral therapy, myofascial release, and deep tissue work. His approach integrates all three into sessions that address the root cause of pain and dysregulation — not just the symptoms.
Every session is tailored to what your body presents that day. In-studio sessions are available alongside mobile sessions throughout most of Palm Beach County.

Book NowCraniosacral therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on modality working with the body's craniosacral system — the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord. Using a touch of about 5 grams, a trained therapist can detect and release restrictions in this system. Because the craniosacral rhythm is intimately connected to the central nervous system, releasing these restrictions can have profound effects on pain, mood, sleep, and overall regulation.
Tommy doesn't offer full-body relaxation massage. Every session at Hikari is therapeutic and targeted — working on the specific area or system that needs attention. The goal is lasting structural and neurological change, not temporary relief. Sessions are slower and more intentional, and may focus on a single region for the entire duration.
CST has a growing body of clinical evidence supporting its use for headaches, chronic neck pain, anxiety, PTSD, and infant colic. It was developed by osteopathic physician John Upledger in the 1970s, building on earlier work by William Sutherland. Tommy's approach combines CST with myofascial science and deep tissue work — all of which have strong research foundations.
Yes. Tommy offers in-home mobile sessions throughout most of Palm Beach County for an additional travel and setup fee. All modalities are available for mobile sessions. You may book directly through Fresha and select Mobile Bodywork Session.
This varies significantly based on the issue and how long it's been present. Acute issues may resolve in 1–3 sessions. Chronic patterns that have developed over years typically require a series — often 6–10 sessions to create lasting change. Tommy will give you an honest assessment after your first session. Many clients continue on a monthly maintenance basis once their acute goals are met.
For massage sessions, you'll undress to your comfort level and be draped throughout. For craniosacral work, you remain fully clothed — loose, comfortable clothing is best. No preparation needed. It helps to avoid heavy meals beforehand and to plan for quiet time after, as many people feel deeply relaxed or process emotionally following a session.
